Adam Whitworth

My name is Adam Whitworth, I’m a Professor of Employment Policy at Strathclyde Business School and I’m the Principal Investigator for this really exciting NIHR funded WISHES project.

My research focuses on issues of work and health, how we best design, implement, use evaluation to create employment support interventions to help people with health conditions, disabilities, and other complex disadvantages to realize their employment aspirations, to move into work, to sustain that work, to be as productive as they can be in employment and progress their careers.

My role in WISHES will be to oversee all aspects of the project, from trial design, intervention design, and implementation, all of the knowledge exchange, impact and dissemination work.
